For one of our clients in the electrical/electronic field are we looking for a skilled Embedded Software Engineer. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the embedded systems based on Linux platform, with a minimum of four years professional experience. This role demands proficiency in using preferred engineering tools and a good command of English and German is highly preferred. Due to Swiss regulations, we can only consider Swiss or EU citizens for this position.

• Design, develop, and test embedded software for various applications
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate software and hardware components
• Debug and troubleshoot software issues, ensuring high reliability and performance
• Optimize software for efficiency and scalability
• Document software design and implementation details
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Robotics, or a related field
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in embedded programming
• Proficiency in C/C++ and Linux-based systems
• Experience with Java, ARM architecture is highly beneficial
• Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in German is preferred
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Swiss or EU citizenship, in compliance with Swiss employment law

• Home-Office: 2 days
