System Engineer - vRealize
System Engineer vacancy requiring profound vRealize knowledge for our Bern based client in the telecommunication sector.
Your tasks:
- Implementing simple backlog items or backlog items with focus on the specialty with little supervision
- Creating and refining backlog items in collaboration with the product owner while also estimating backlog items in the team and planning for the next iteration
- Designing, implementing, configuring and refactoring software solutions and ensuring built-in quality and security
- Developing and executing tests as well as building and maintaining automation frameworks
- Integrating software according to the applied deployment concept while also monitoring the software solutions
- Processing incidents and service requests as well as providing 2nd and 3rd level support and on-call service
Your experience/knowledge:
- Several years of experience as a system and DevOps engineer with focus on virtualization environments with VMware technologies
- Proven track-record of operating large, mission critical platforms
- Expertise in vRealizeAutomation Version 7.x as well as vRAcluster setup and vRAservices
- Well-versed with MS SQL DB, Postgres DB and Windows Nodes, including IMS, IWS, PA and DEM Worker
- Familiarity with vRealizeOrchestrator, cluster management and DevOps tools like GIT, Ansible, Python and CI/CD
- Language skills: English - fluent, German is beneficial

- Team player with strong customer-orientation and the ability to assess complex situations
- Flexibility as well as a good understanding of agile and lean principles
