We are looking for a driven and experienced Cluster Sales Manager to lead sales efforts for the MICE segment, representing a portfolio of 7 premier hotels across Switzerland. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in MICE sales, with the ability to develop and execute strategies to drive group bookings and corporate events across multiple markets. Fluency in both German and English is essential for this role.
MICE Sales Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for the MICE segment to maximize bookings across the portfolio.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in both domestic and international markets, focusing on building long-term relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and agencies.
- Collaborate with hotel teams to create competitive packages and offerings tailored to the needs of MICE clients.
Market Development & Client Relationships
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the MICE sector, including corporate accounts, PCOs (Professional Conference Organizers), and MICE agencies.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their needs and providing customized solutions for events across the portfolio.
- Conduct regular client meetings, site visits, and presentations to promote the hotels’ MICE facilities and services.
Sales & Revenue Growth
- Achieve and exceed revenue targets by growing MICE bookings across the 10-hotel portfolio.
- Work with revenue management to optimize pricing strategies for group bookings, ensuring competitiveness within the market.
- Track and analyze sales performance, providing regular reports on progress, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Brand Promotion & Networking
- Represent the portfolio at trade shows, networking events, and industry functions, enhancing visibility and brand recognition within the MICE segment.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activities, identifying areas to differentiate the hotels’ MICE offerings.
Collaboration with Hotel Teams
- Collaborate with on-site teams at each hotel to ensure seamless delivery of services for MICE clients, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns specific to the MICE segment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, Sales & Marketing, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in sales within the MICE segment, with a strong understanding of the Swiss and international MICE markets.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a multi-property or cluster role is an advantage.
- Fluency in both German and English (additional languages are a plus).
- Existing network within the MICE industry, with established relationships across key markets.
