Process Engineer MOVPE (MOCVD)
(m/f, full-time permanent position), to expand our epitaxy department in Zurich.
Your tasks:
- MOVPE (MOCVD) growth of GaAs based laser diode structures
- Coordination of semiconductor material characterization and analysis of results (XRD, PL, reflectiv-ity, SIMS, Hall effect, Nomarski microscopy, SEM, AFM)
- Optimization and programming of MOVPE processes focusing on quality and productivity
- Responsibility for usage and maintenance of AIXTRON production systems
- Release of fabricated laser structures for subsequent processing
- Implementation of new software and hardware to improve the fabrication process
- Participation and leading of production and development projects
Your Profile:
- Master’s Degree (or PhD) in physics or electrical engineering with focus on solid state physics or material sciences or comparable professional experience in semiconductor production
- Experience in growth of semiconductor structures with MOVPE (MOCVD)
- Knowledge in laser physics, vacuum technology and characterization of III-V semiconductor layers
- Expertise in programming is an advantage (Python, LabView, SQL, etc.)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills preferably in German and English
- Results oriented personality with initiative
