Championships Manager – Formula Regional (FR) & Formula 4 (F4) (Geneva - Switzerland)
For FR & F4 activities, the Championships Manager will work closely with the Junior Categories Coordinator.
MISSIONS AND RESPONSABILITIES:
Championships Strategy & Coordination
- Propose and implement strategies and regulations, ensuring compliance and future development.
- Manage sporting matters with ASNs, promoters, and maintain visibility with FIA Communication.
General & Administrative Tasks
- Submit activity reports and collaborate with FIA departments for logistical and administrative support.
- Manage the FIA Calendar Platform, invoicing, and follow up on license agreements with Legal.
Supervision of Sporting Regulations
- Draft and update yearly Sporting Guidelines, proposing cost-control regulatory changes.
- Review and approve final regulations through the SiSe Committee, and draft explanatory notes.
Sporting Aspects Management
- Maintain relationships with ASNs, promoters, and monitor championship calendars for compliance.
- Collaborate with the Head of Junior Categories to ensure alignment across all sporting aspects.
Promoters’ Actions & Performance
- Monitor event performance (participation, visibility, media) and advise on improvements.
- Evaluate and share best practices among promoters and ASNs using established KPIs.
Communication/Media Coordination
- Coordinate communication with the FIA Communication department on all FR/F4 matters.
- Follow up on communication issues to ensure alignment and visibility.
Development of FR & F4 Categories
- Manage new championship applications, assess feasibility, and support organizers with regulations.
- Oversee the introduction of new car generations, F4 Academy expansion, and F4 Esports projects.
Event Coordination
- Propose Sporting Regulations and manage official appointments for key events.
- Oversee entry management, communication, and logistics, attending events for on-site coordination.
Single Seater Committee & WMSC
- Prepare and present proposals, organize meetings, and ensure effective communication.
- Attend competitions biennially to ensure FIA standards and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
PROFILE:
- University degree in Business Management or Sport Management
- Fluent in English, additional languages are a plus
- Proven experience in Sport Federations and / or in Motorsports
- Background in managing motorsport events
- Interest and familiarity with administrative management
- High proficiency with MS Office tools and software
- Excellent organizational abilities, with the capacity to multitask effectively and prioritize work
