Contribute to the cutting-edge development of medical technology solutions and thrive in an environment that offers a great amount of autonomy.
- Actively drive concept generation, analysis and development of innovative electronics solutions and system architectures for our “state of the art” insulin infusion pumps in accordance with design development and control processes
- Deliver functionally safe solutions with significant elements of cross-functional design e.g. mechanical, software, firmware in compliance with ISO 13485 and FDA Medical Device Design Control processes
- Contribute to requirements definition, create design documentation and verification test plans
- Participate in peer reviewing of the various hardware development artifacts
- Support the verification team with HW related verifications including CB certifications for IEC 60601-1
- Drive new component introduction and obsolescence management together with third party suppliers
- Provide 3rd level product care HW improvements relating to the existing product range through continuous refinement and bringing in innovative technology solutions
- Perform root cause analyses as part of 3rd level support for complaints / production issues and generate technical reports (German and English)
- Degree level in Electronic Engineering or a related field with a minimum of 5 years practical experience in this field
- Proven track record of developing embedded HW solutions ideally within the medical sector
- Thorough knowledge of electronics assembly processes and test methodologies
- An ability to work within tight deadlines and manage your time effectively
- Team orientated, communicative, responsive and customer focused
- Experience of the following tools considered an advantage: Altium Designer, DOORS Next
- Very good knowledge of German and English (B2 or higher preferred)
