Position Details:
- Location: Michigan 75 % on site – 25 % remote
- Duration: 6 months +
- Language: Proficiency in English
Skills Required:
SAP EWM Expertise:
Proficient in SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) with a strong understanding of its functionalities and modules.
Customizing Knowledge:
Extensive experience in customizing SAP EWM to meet specific business requirements, including configuration of warehouse processes, layout, and system integration.
Testing Experience:
Proven experience in defining, planning, and executing test cases, as well as troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise during the testing phase.
Key Responsibilities:
Localization of SAP EWM Concept:
Adapt a general SAP EWM framework to align with local warehouse requirements, considering local structure, processes, and compliance.
Implementation and Customization:
Implement and customize SAP EWM solutions based on local requirements. This includes system configuration, setting up master data, and integrating with other SAP modules or third-party systems.
Testing:
Define comprehensive test cases based on the customized solutions.
Conduct thorough testing to ensure the system meets all business requirements and functions correctly.
Preparation for Go-Live and Hypercare:
Prepare the system and users for go-live, including final data migration, user training, and system validation.
Provide hypercare support post go-live to ensure smooth operations, resolve any issues, and optimize system performance.
This position involves a critical role in customizing and deploying SAP EWM solutions tailored to local needs, ensuring successful implementation and user adoption. The ideal candidate will have strong SAP EWM skills, a methodical approach to testing, and the ability to effectively manage the transition to go-live and beyond.
