Key Responsibilities:
- The 3rd Level IT Support Specialist is responsible for providing advanced technical support to resolve complex IT issues. This role requires a deep understanding of ITIL practices and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve high-level technical problems efficiently.
- Provide advanced technical support for complex IT issues escalated from 2nd level support.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
- Manage and resolve incidents and service requests in accordance with ITIL best practices.
- Perform root cause analysis for recurring incidents and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Maintain detailed documentation of incidents, solutions, and processes.
- Participate in the development and improvement of IT support procedures and policies.
- Train and mentor 1st and 2nd level support staff.
- Stay updated with the latest IT technologies and trends.
Your Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT support, with at least 2 years in a 3rd level support role.
- Strong knowledge of ITIL practices and processes; ITIL certification is preferred.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Windows and Linux operating systems, networking, and server management.
- Experience with IT service management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator) are a plus.
- German native is a must
