Manufacturing Controller
your missions
- Act as a finance business partner to Manufacture’s departments to comment, challenge and explain financial performance
- Safeguard the financial objective through both P&L and assets of the departments by analyzing financial impacts of budget/ forecast deviations, and maintaining the independent view of Finance in business decisions
- Drive insightful analysis and financial visibility to enable strategic and operational decisions
- Share and explain the monthly results throughout the manufacturing organization
- Promote financial discipline within the organization, ensures quality of the financial forecasts and compliance of corporate finance policies
- Develop a close and proactive collaboration with all manufacturing departments and marketing team
- Work on ad hoc Finance project by bringing better functional efficiency and effectiveness
- Develop budgets, estimate and rolling forecast according to the financial frameworks for most of the Manufacturing departments.
- Monitoring of financial targets/KPIs and related processes
- Referent for Customer Service P&L by providing support to the department for building budget, to do the monthly closing follow-up and to provide analysis.
- Manage the reporting in the Group’s reporting tool (Anaplan)
- Collaborate with finance teammates on various closing tasks
- Leader on calculating and analyzing product’s coefficients and profitability.
- You will have a pivotal role animating all actors around product development: Marketing, R&D, Supply-Chain and Finance.
- Develop and provide insightful analysis on markups
- Identify, define, and drive process/system improvement projects in line with the business needs; whilst continuously improving tools and processes
- Work closely with our Finance Data Analyst for digitalization and data-visualization to provide adequate analysis for business and strategic decision making
- Industrial management control: analysis of factory losses and cost variance
- Product costing management: build up standards in SAP Product Costing, analysis of variances, certification of finished products and components
your profile
- Master Degree or equivalent in Finance
- A minimum of 5 years relevant experience in a similar role in an industrial environment.
- Previous experience in the watch industry is a plus
- Strong analytical mind with excellent interpersonal communication skills and problem-solving capability
- Must be results oriented, customer focused and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Good experience or knowledge of SAP/ Business Intelligence with a strong focus on manufacturing specificities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially in the use of Excel and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of PowerBi and/or SQL would be a plus
- High proficiency in written and verbal communication skills in French and English
