IMCD Switzerland, a subsidiary of the IMCD Group, employs a workforce of 65 employees at its headquarters in Zurich and additional locations in Basel and Chiasso.
For the Business Unit International API at the location in Basel we are looking for an immediate or by arrangement:
Your tasks and responsibilities:
- Processing of customer and supplier orders in the ERP system and ensure data update
- Issuing the corresponding export documents (including application for licenses, legalizations, etc.)
- Follow-up of unpaid customer invoices in collaboration with the Sales Manager and follow-up on opportunities
- Draft, assemble and send out documents such as CDA’s, CPA’s, certificates, MSDS, etc.
- Coordination and support to develop IMCD companies in Europe (France, Greece, Benelux, UK) and the United States/Canada
- Elaborate price offers for assigned customers
- Prepare yearly budget and forecast in cooperation with the Sales Manager / BU Manager
- Responsible for Budget for assigned countries
- Handling of complaints in collaboration with the Technical Sales Support and Quality organisation (HSEQ/Compliance)
- Manage stock positions
- Authorization of shipments form supplier / warehouse
- Examination of L / C’s and contracts of new business
Your competencies and qualities:
- Completed commercial apprenticeship (EFZ certificate) or equivalent
- Several years’ experience in a sales support position
- Strong organizational and priorization skills
- Communicative, proactive convincing and reliable team player
- High sense of quality and responsibility
- Fluent in English and German (any other language is an advantage)
- Flair for inside sales activities (offer process, negotiation with customers and suppliers)
- Good knowledge of MS Office, ERP and CRM tools (Salesforce knowledge is an advantage)
