Legal Assistant - Trademark and Patent - RM Group AG
Legal Assistant vacancy requiring profound Trademark & Patent knowledge for our Basel based client in the agricultural sector.
Your tasks:
- Cooperating with the outsourced Patent and Trademark recordal provider and providing the required documentation to enable Entity merger and address change
- Reviewing merger and address change invoices against the vendor agreed fees in the legal e-billing system
- Preparing Trademark and Patent Assignments and changes of name and address
- Archiving of paper and electronic files and in particular, Patent and Trademark Assignments and changes of name and address
- Managing signatures and notarization of Patent and Trademark related documents
- Being responsible for TNT shipping as well as general administrative and secretarial work in support of the team
Your experience/knowledge:
- Expertise in the legal field, like experience in a legal department, law firm or notary office, preferably with IP knowledge
- Well-versed with Microsoft office programs, especially Excel
- Good general school education to commercial diploma or matura level
- Language skills: English – fluent in written and spoken, German is beneficial

- Team player with excellent communication and organizational skills
- Attention to detail and a solution-oriented way of working
