- Collaborate with clients on their supply chain operations, assessing and implementing best-inclass supply chain methods and solutions.
- Lead and deliver high-impact projects, engaging with senior stakeholders from high-profile clients across various industries.
- Manage teams and project workstreams in challenging supply chain related projects on various areas e.g.: operations transformation, fit for growth, cost optimization.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing and potential client accounts.
- Lead the development of proposals, presentations, and other business development materials to win new engagements.
- Drive the growth of our capabilities and service offerings by collaborating closely with PwC's global network of experts. Leverage our market-leading propositions, methodologies, assets, and training materials.
- Work in a fast-paced growing environment, driven by respect, collegiality, and strong team spirit.
- Master's degree in business or engineering (MBA or equivalent).
- 5-10 years of relevant work experience ideally previous experience from business consulting.
- Previous experience in consulting sales and proposal development, along with involvement in internal company initiatives are mandatory.
- Strong analytical and project management skills as well as excellent interpersonal skills to build strong relationship with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ideally you understand or have worked with the leading technology solutions for supply chain & operations management.
- Previous experience in one or more of the following areas of supply chain: operating model design, manufacturing, supply chain and distribution footprint optimization, supply chain planning, logistics and transportation, or warehouse management.
- As an advantage we consider experience from large transformation projects and other exposure to improving supply chain or operations functions that operate along the value chain.
- Solid track record in delivering projects as a team player with a high degree of independence.
- Proven ability to coach and develop team members.
- Fluency in English is a must, with German or French considered an advantage. Flexibility for travel is also required.
- Proficiency with MS Office tools (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Word) Additionally, as a Senior Manager:
- Previous experience from business consulting.
- Strong network in Life Sciences, Industrial Manufacturing and/or Retail and Consumer Goods.
- Track record of successful business development and sales achievements.
- Existing strong knowledge on one of the teams' core capabilities within supply chain (supply chain operating model transformation, manufacturing, supply chain and distribution footprint optimization, supply chain planning, logistics and transportation, or warehouse management).
- Ability to lead multiple projects as needed.
- Ability to lead, motivate and create a long-term vision for a team with strong people management capabilities.
