Workplace Support Technician
Here is the opportunity to actively reinforce and strengthen the IT Support department a renown international non-profit organization based in Lausanne. You will directly contribute in the maintenance and incident management of IT Workplace solutions, hardware and software, for the whole organization.
Workplace Support Technician
- Provide L1/L2 technical support to end-users, remotely, onsite, and also on a welcome desk
- Handle incident management, resolving problems escalated by the welcome or service desk
- Ensure the efficient user account administration and access rights on all devices
- Manage PC setup and mobile devices deployment for new employees
- Maintain inventory of all equipment, software and software licenses
- Install, test and configure workstations, equipment, software or repair and replace if needed
- Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance at the appropriate time
- Contribute in identifying and diagnosing issues with monitoring platform
- Document your work in the ServiceNow ticketing system
- Accompany new employees for the IT onboarding
- Respect the defined SLAs and escalate situation if needed
- Degree in Information System or Computer Science
- 4 years of proved experience in L2 technical support, especially on workplace solution
- Very good knowledge on Microsoft 365 and its components (W10, Outlook, Azure AD)
- Very good knowledge of MDM solutions (Microsoft EndPoint)
- Very good knowledge of videoconferencing tools (Poly, Logitech, Teams, Zoom)
- Strong knowledge of ITIL framework and good practices
- Good knowledge of monitoring tools, mobile device management, and Mac environment
Your language skills:
- English or French fluency, with excellent writing and speaking of the other language
