In this role, you will have the outstanding chance to lead a Product Value Stream within the Wound Closure & Healing (WCH) business, supporting J&J IM. As a leader within the supply chain, your primary responsibility will be to optimize performance for a set of products through end-to-end product ownership. You will connect Supply Chain, Commercial, and R&D to develop customer-centric Product Life Cycle strategies that drive business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a long-term Supply Chain Product Strategy Roadmap for the J&J IM support cell, spanning a 3 to 5 years planning horizon. This entails working closely with commercial teams, as well as other J&J and Supply Chain functions, to ensure consensus on the product lifecycle strategy.
- Take the PSR output and develop, deploy, and implement supply chain strategies for the required responsiveness and agility to better meet customer requirements, such cycle time reduction, SKU rationalization, and BCP strategies. Monitoring product performance (delivery, margin, cost, inventory, quality) against targets. Define corrective actions when required and ensure execution.
- Support the strategic prioritization of the value stream's LCM projects and contribute to developing plans for new LCM projects and/or supporting existing LCM projects, ensuring they adhere to the defined scope, timeline, and budget.
- Continuously improve performance of their products by monitoring key business indicators against targets.
- Own resolution management of supply & quality events that are potentially impacting the supply towards the markets for all assigned products.
- Generate product communication within the Supply Chain. This includes issue related communication as well as regular communication.
- Analyze and suggest the best Product Portfolio mix. This involves leading all aspects of cost and inventory optimization for assigned products throughout their lifecycle. Collaborate with strategic marketing, regulatory, R&D, and technical teams to stay prepared for market and customer demands and drive product innovation.
- Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level.
- Responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures.
