Underwriter Infrastructure, Full Time or Part Time (All Gender)
Your responsibility
- Underwrite Infrastructure accounts and build up your own portfolio, according to Helvetia Group Underwriting Directives and Guidelines Strategy
- Analyze and evaluate risks, both from a technical and insurance standpoint
- Ensure accurate and complete recording of all underwriting information
- Negotiate terms and conditions with brokers and clients
- Develop an extensive knowledge of the business provider network worldwide
- Attend national and international client and broker meetings as well as site visits when necessary
- Close cooperation with our claims department for large and complex claims
Your qualification
- University degree in engineering, law, or commercial qualification
- Ideally you are an Underwriter, Claims Manager, Loss Adjuster, or Insurance Professional willing to develop as an Underwriter
- Strong business acumen, knowledge of infrastructure and construction industry
- Proficiency in English. German, French, Italian and Spanish would be good to have. Other language(s) would be advantageous
- You tackle challenges with passion and demonstrate high expectations of your own performance
- You can develop stable partnerships across departmental boundaries and cooperate with internal and external stakeholders to meet common goals
- You have a positive, agile, and team-oriented approach
