As Trading System Engineer at Bank J. Safra Sarasin you are in a team which develops enhancements and new solutions for our group wide used execution trading system (FIS Front Arena AMS/OMNI, Avaloq) as well as for surrounding systems. This role contains project management work and frequent traveling between Basel and Zürich.
- Define IT processes and workflows within our order routing and trading system, e.g. Front Arena AMS/OMNI (Market Access, Order Routing, Settlement) and Avaloq
- Implement, configure and test new functionalities
- Analyse and support on business level
- Write documentations
- Higher education (university / FH) in IT or natural sciences
- Additional training in Avaloq Certified Professional (ACP)
- 3 years of practical experience in an IT trading environment
- Basic knowledge in the area Trading (Eq, FI, Deriv, FX) as well as experience with FIX Protocol, TLS, encryption is required
- Knowledge in FIS Front Arena execution trading system and/or Avaloq is an advantage
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to work with various stakeholder
- Capability to work independently as well as ands-on mentality
- Ability to work under pressure
- Fluency in English, fluency in German is a plus
