Test Automation Manager

For our branch in Lugano (Switzerland), we are seeking an experienced Test Automation Manager to lead the team in enhancing our test automation strategy, with a strong focus on Tosca by Tricentis.
The ideal candidate will play a critical role in shaping our testing strategy, driving automation adoption, and mentoring a high-performing testing team.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Design, implement, and maintain the test automation architecture
- Lead the planning, design, development, and implementation of automated test frameworks for RESTful APIs, microservices, and other backend systems using Tricentis Tosca
- Developing and implementing quality standards and quality control systems
- Oversee the execution of automated tests, analyze results, and report on test progress and quality metrics
- Identify and prioritize issues, working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent experience
- Solid hands-on experience with Tricentis Tosca
- Extensive knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, REST Assured, etc
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated testing
- Experience in an Agile environment
- Fluent English and Italian
- We do not offer a fully remote work policy
- Candidates should be prepared to relocate to Canton Ticino (Switzerland) or Italian Border Towns (such as Como, Varese etc.)
- Work-from-home days may be possible according to the Client's policy
