The primary objective of this role is to ensure the seamless execution of our surgical simulation trainings (Orthopedics, Traumatology, Spine and Robotic Assisted Surgery) for our internal and external stakeholders with the overarching goal of enhancing the clinical knowledge and surgical proficiency of healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation, monitoring and post-processing of surgery simulation training, events and validation of R&D and product development (3 to 5 times per week in simulation OR).
- Ensure flawless execution and positive learning experiences for our customers.
- Operate mobile X-ray equipment, microscope, OR table, Arthroscopy tower, and other technical devices to ensure the success of the training events
- Perform and oversee the appropriate reprocessing of training instruments and implants, ensuring effective decontamination and sterilization through manual and chemical-thermal methods.
- Take responsibility for logistics, including managing consumables, rental equipment, and other necessary supplies
- Prepare, post-process, and manage anatomical specimens, including ordering, delivery, utilization, and return shipment
- Ensure care and maintenance of technical devices and equipment to guarantee their optimal performance
- Handle administrative work related to event organization, procurement of required specimens, and overall purchasing process
- Lead the entire process of annual maintenance, from organization to supervision to subsequent payment and administrative documentation
- Prepare documentation, such as statistics, to track all activities of the Johnson & Johnson Institute – Anatomic Lab
- Co-responsibility in event coordination, managing mail traffic, and event calendar management
- Work hands-on with specimens during the preparation process, lab sessions, and post-processing phase
- Represent team colleagues in their absence, taking on their areas of responsibility
