Technical Sales Specialist (TSS)

Location: Switzerland, based at our headquarter in Tolochenaz

Terms: Full time (100%), CDI (Indefinite-term contract)

Start Date: Immediately

Territory: West-South Europe incl. Switzerland, France, UK, Spain

Job Description

This position is ideal for a self-motivated, practical, enthusiastic individual. A Technical Sales Specialist has a key role in our commercial execution and achieving corporate revenue goals and objectives in West-South Europe. He/she needs to understand customer’s needs and design the proper sales strategy to drive new leads to closed orders. A TSS is involved in all aspects of customer interactions from prospecting to post sales activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Process Management: Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation and CRM management (Salesforce) to quoting and closing sales through consultative selling.
  • Prospecting: Identify new business opportunities across various channels, including LinkedIn, email, phone calls, and other social media platforms.
  • Customer engagement: Organize and deliver seminars, webinars, and other customer-facing events to promote Nanolive's 3D Cell Explorer product suite.
  • Product Demonstrations: Coordinate and execute product demos, both independently and with the support of our field applications team, including remote demos from HQ.
  • Representation: Represent Nanolive at trade shows, regional events, mini-vendor shows, and industry conferences to build brand awareness and generate leads.
  • Territory Travel:Travel within your assigned territory to meet clients, conduct site visits, perform demos, and engage in cold calling as needed. The position requires flexibility to travel to up to 50% of working time.
  • Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with channel partners, distributors, and resellers, ensuring alignment with company goals.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum B.S. in cell biology, immunology, life sciences arena (preferred MSc)
  • Experience of commercial life science roles preferred
  • 1-2+ years in Sales would be a plus
  • Enthusiasm to introduce a new technology to the market
  • Good connections within academia/biotech within the territory
  • Able to work independently
  • Valid Swiss work permit
  • French and English are mandatory
  • Must have excellent communication, listening and presenting skills
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a remote team, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
