Vetropack Italia S.r.l., owned by Swiss group Vetropack Holding Ltd, leader in European glass packaging industry, is present in Italy since 2015, in Boffalora Sopra Ticino (MI).
What we are looking for
A Junior Project Engineer to join the Italian Engineering & Maintenance Team with a key role both in developing and optimizing some key new equipment and tools, mainly those related to supervision and control of glass manufacturing process.
In this Position
- He/She will give commitment and support in the completion and optimization of some Project Parts of the new Manufacturing Plant, in particular but not limited to:
- 2-Level Finished Product Warehouse, entirely managed by LGV vehicles. He/She will work with the LGV supplier in optimizing the software, also acting as trainer for the maintenance team.
- Industrial IT of the new Plant: He/She will support the Senior Engineer in developing of all Supervisors of the Site (MES, PCS7), including SAP interface
- Energy Management, consumption optimization, waste reduction and Sustainability
- He/She will support the deployment of Group Initiatives, as part of multi-plant teams focused on improvements and efficiency.
- He/She will support the Energy manager of the Plant, giving a key contribution for Sustainability and Energy Optimization activities. He/She will become in due time Energy Manager of the Site.
- He/She will be member of Teams for implementation and deployment of Safety Standard and Plant Golden Rules
- He/She will support the Maintenance Team in creating maintenance plans for the equipment of the new site, populating the Preventive Maintenance Planner Software
- He/She will give support to registration of asset, preparation of inventories and spare part list for the new equipments
- He/She will give support to all remaining shutdown activities of Trezzano Plant
This role reports to the Technical Manager in Boffalora Plant.
This role will assure High Visibility at Group level and will be the opportunity for further career development in the Plant or inside the Group.

Requirements
- Electronic or Automation Engineering Master degree
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Manufacturing and/or Engineering environments or
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Multinational Project Management
- English is a working language, a good knowledge is necessary
