We are currently seeking a passionate and dynamic part time Performing Arts Teacher to join our team. - Develop and deliver dynamic and engaging performing arts lessons that align with curriculum standards and educational objectives.
- Provide instruction in various aspects of performing arts, including drama, music, movement, and/or stagecraft.
- Plan and organize rehearsals, performances, and extracurricular clubs related to the performing arts program.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages creativity, collaboration, and self-expression.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support growth.
- To comply with safeguarding policies, procedures, and code of conduct.
- To demonstrate a personal commitment to safeguarding and student/colleague wellbeing.
- To ensure that any safeguarding concerns or incidents are reported appropriately in line with policy.
- To engage in safeguarding training when required.
- Bachelor's degree in Music or Drama Education, or a related field (master's degree preferred).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English (and German preferred).
- Previous experience teaching drama, music, or movement in a school environment.
- Strong knowledge and proficiency in one or more areas of performing arts (e.g. drama, music, movement).
- Demonstrated ability to create and implement innovative and effective teaching strategies.
