Supplier Quality Control Manager
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Supplier Integration and NPI Support Specialist to join our dynamic team.The Supplier Integration and NPI (New Product Introduction) Support Specialist will be responsible for managing supplier relationships and ensuring seamless integration of new products into our supply chain. This role involves coordinating with cross-functional teams (engineering, quality, and production) to support new product development, ensuring supplier compliance with company standards, and optimizing supply chain processes. Furthermore, this role will be responsible for identifying and mitigating risks associated with supplier integration and new product introduction.The work model for the role is onsite. #LI-OnsiteYou will be mainly accountable for:• Managing the supplier onboarding process for new products, including documentation and compliance checks by ensuring timely delivery of materials and components from suppliers to meet project timelines.• Drafting First Article Inspection (FAI) reports and supporting the validation of new electrical, electronic, and mechanical components.• Implementing best practices to enhance supplier performance and product quality as well as monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supplier integration and NPI activities.• Managing incoming inspection activities to ensure the quality of received materials and components and providing feedback for the development of new products and new tools necessary to control supply chain processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Electronical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in Power Electronics, preferably in UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) systems.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
- Fluency in English and Italian.
