Responsible for facilitating transactions, producing, assembling and delivering replacement/ repair parts and equipment as part of a Services agreement or order.
Includes activities such as processing transactions, managing processes, material management, site operations, or warehouse logistics & shipping, sometimes in a shop structure. Includes craft & non craft labour as well as manager roles responsible solely for these activities. Impacts departmental operations and responsible for planning/execution. The role has some autonomy but is focused on execution of activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures. Some judgment may be required but this is typically with guidance.

Required Qualifications
- Technical University or College Degree – in Mechanical, Electrical, Energy Engineering or Mechatronics
- 3+ years of experience in energy industry
- Ability to read, interpret and comprehend technical documentation such as technical drawings, Bill of Materials, material specifications, electrical schematic diagrams, system block diagrams
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access)
- Must be fluent in Writing/Speaking/Reading in English
- Strong oral, written and telephonic communications skills in English
- Ability to communicate and integrate across functions within the business
- Utilizes initiative and independent judgment in the performance of daily work tasks
- Ability to drive process improvements and solve complex problems
- Good interpersonal, strong communication, presentation, and influencing skills
- Pro-active approach to problem solving
- Detail oriented, organized, conscientious team player with strong sense of ownership
- Capable of designing, selling, and implementing process improvements
- Ability to quickly and effectively learn business operating systems
Desired Characteristics
- Familiarity with power plant equipment, operations, maintenance
- Certified Black Belt/Green Belt (GE employees only)
- Prior experience in drafting, design engineering, or field engineering is preferred
- Prior experience with COPICS/COSDOM, PWI, Parts ERP and PLM is preferred
- Experience with PGPLM, SBOM, PMX and RPDM
- Ability to read drawings and have familiarity with BOM structures
- Six Sigma training is preferred
- Strong problem solving skills
