Senior Senior Research Scientis & Technology – Functional Lead (external) in Biologics

Responsibilities:

• Independently design, plan, and execute scientific experiments to develop formulations and processes for biologic drug products.
• Conduct specific analytical tests and stability studies, document raw data, and interpret and report results.
• Ensure effective information exchange within the development team and assist in preparing scientific protocols and reports.
• Take responsibility for specific tools, equipment, and technologies, including maintenance and qualification activities.
• Develop new or optimize existing laboratory methods and processes and contribute to the implementation of new technologies.
• Attend project meetings and discussions as needed, providing scientific and technical expertise.
• Ensure compliance with laboratory standards for quality, ethics, health, safety, environmental protection, and information security.
• Actively foster knowledge exchange and contribute to the team's objectives.

Your Profile:

• PhD in Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Technology, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in the biotech or pharma industry, focusing on biologics drug product formulation, process development, and technology transfer.
• Experience in protein analytics, lyophilization, and primary packaging development for biologics.
• Hands-on experience in drug product formulation and analytics for biologics, including mixing, filtration, fill-finish, and lyophilization.
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written); knowledge of German is an advantage.
• Strong skills in MS Office tools and digital/data proficiency.
• Highly organized, able to work independently in a laboratory environment, and familiar with GLP and HSE requirements.
• Good communication skills and basic understanding of statistical data analysis.
