Senior Savoury Technologist (m/f/d)

As Senior Food Technologist (m/f/d) you serve as technical expert and advisor to savoury customers in Switzerland and Israel. You guide the development of new flavor Technical Capabilities and you will support the team in the execution of Innovation projects.

You will be based in our Innovation Center in Kemptthal and report directly to the Technical Manager Switzerland and Israel.

In this exciting role you will:

  • Accomplish daily customer brief-related tasks including flavour selection, product evaluation, and application recipe development
  • Build the Swiss and Israeli flavour collection by selecting the best flavours, applying technical information, sensory panelling techniques and commercials insights, according to country commercial strategy
  • Select flavours for projects according to specified requirements (i.e. customer, regulatory, legislation, cost) and suggest improvements for Savoury. Manage technical customer communication to achieve a positive outcome of projects, develop concept presentations and present flavours and flavoured food products to customers
  • Communicate content and updates on collections to technical and commercial teams including tasting
  • Lead evaluations of flavours in food applications for existing portfolio flavours

Your professional profile includes:

  • Bachelor or Master Degree in Food Science, Chemistry and Biology
  • 5 years + experience in a food applications lab, production or related area
  • Understanding of Savoury applications ingredients and processes with practical experience in customers' Food manufacturing Environment
  • Project Management skills and experienced in leading selected customer Projects
  • Willing and passionate about participating on customer Projects including customer visits
  • Basic knowledge on solving technical challenges in Savoury
  • Expert in translating market trends into products for selected customers
  • Business fluent in English oral and written; of advantage German skills
