As a Senior Project Manager in the Telecom Domain, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing large-scale projects within the organization. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of project management principles, particularly within the telecommunications and ISP industry. You will manage project scope, schedule, finance, risk, quality, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
- Develop comprehensive project plans outlining scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines
- Manage project teams, providing direction, mentorship, and support and plan project resources
- Establish clear communication channels with stakeholders, team members, and clients
- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost control and financial accountability
- Lead cross-functional project teams with a focus on collaboration and high performance
- Implement quality control and quality assurance processes
- Manage project scope changes through a structured change control process
- Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Project Management, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum of 15 - 20 years of project management experience in the telecommunications and ISP industry
- Proven track record of managing multi-million-dollar projects successfully
- General knowledge of Transport Network (IP/MPLS, Optical DWDM, Internet peerings, DC networking, B2B services etc.), architecture, design and protocols is strongly preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Agile or PMP or PRINCE2 certification is highly desirable.
- Experience in management of offshore teams, and especially teams in South Asia (India)
