Senior Project Manager - Risk & Governance

Project Manager vacancy requiring profound life insurances knowledge for a globally operating Zürich based company in the Banking sector.

Your tasks:

  • Establishing proper end to end processes for a life insurance related project
  • Developing a global view as well as regional deviations with effective control points
  • Setting the rules for the authorization of third parties with regards to risk management in relation to life insurance accounts
  • Developing project management processes while also ensuring adherence to defined standards
  • Overseeing the project progress including budgets, risks, and resource allocation
  • Cooperating with different stakeholders to align business goals with technological opportunities


Your experience/knowledge:

  • 10+ years of experience in project management, preferably within the banking sector
  • Expertise in life insurances, risk management and developing governance frameworks
  • Experience in working with insurance companies that open the accounts for or on behalf of the banks for the clients or within a bank already offering such products
  • Knowledge of the current regulation in Switzerland and beyond, especially LUX and Asia
  • Knowhow of the wealth planning offering in private banking and related regulatory requirements
  • Familiarity with the life insurance business in private banking is beneficial
  • Academic degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field

  • Analytical and solution-orientated thinking
