The Role:
As the Senior Medical Director, you will lead our client’s cutting-edge clinical development team, driving innovative projects and key assets forward. In this high-visibility role, reporting directly to the Head of Clinical Development in Basel, you’ll merge your clinical insights and research prowess to shape strategies, spearhead clinical trials, and navigate the path to regulatory approval. This is a unique opportunity to significantly impact the future of groundbreaking therapies and contribute to plans for further expansion into other indications.
Responsibilities
- Lead and implement clinical development strategies
- Design and oversee clinical studies
- Ensure data integrity and patient safety
- Collaborate with regulatory bodies and research partners
Requirements
- Medical Doctor, preferably board-certified in Gastroenterology, Hepatology, Internal Medicine, or Paediatrics
- 5+ years in pharmaceutical clinical development
- Experience working on early to late-stage trials
- Strong clinical research and biostatistics knowledge
Contract: Permanent
Location: Basel on-site, 2 days home office, relocation to Switzerland or Swiss based is a must
