We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Manager, Sales - Global Trade Sales (GTS) - Commercial Banking.

Principal Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of GTS clients with presence in Singapore to provide solutions and GTS structures that meet the client’s trade and working capital needs
• Establish new client relationships and strengthen existing ones by originating and executing sales strategy in conjunction with regional and country stakeholders
• Execute a robust growth plan to target new customers (New to Bank and New to Trade) for the GTS business including all facets of originating and executing GTS deals to draw down and revenue growth
• Proactively identify core & structured trade finance opportunities and lead RFPs and client pitches and recommending innovative trade finance solutions that meet client objectives
• Devise client plans and strategies to identify sales opportunities, as well as increasing revenue for existing ones to achieve asset growth, sales or revenue targets
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, which may include relationship mangers and product specialists, to maximise cross-selling opportunities for the bank
• Work with Client Implementation Services in a timely fashion to ensure an efficient transition process for complex clients
• Develop and drive changes and improvements to operating models, procedures and practices based on subject matter expertise and understanding of HSBC and market best practice
• Participating in events, initiatives, and activities to develop business opportunities
• Protecting the bank's reputation and ensuring an acceptable risk profile whilst deepening your understanding of the client through credit and customer due diligence reviews
• Support achievement of the HSBC vision, Values, goals and culture in personal behaviour, actions and decision making
• Manage & Partner with Relationship Managers on all credit risk matters including credit assessment/commitment/returns
• Assess risk/reward of transactions when making business decisions and showcase due consideration of bank’s reputation and objectives
• Communicate and adhere to HSBC policy and procedures in order to ensure good operational, financial and, policy and procedural compliance and early identification and effective resolution or escalation of issues that arise
