Senior Manager, Record To Report
VF Corporation is looking for an exceptional RTR Sr Manager to join our Accounting team based in Stabio, Switzerland.

As an RTR Sr Manager, your responsibility lies in maintaining the accuracy and completeness of activities within the RTR organization. This involves verifying data accuracy, processing agreements, and ensuring compliance with USGapp accounting standards.
Collaborating across departments, you'll streamline processes, support financial reporting, and maintain internal controls, contributing to operational excellence.
You will support RTR Lead in the SOX processes with focus on completeness and accuracy of data submission and you’ll be the main point of contact for audit teams in case of any deep dive request.
In your role you will support the statutory reporting preparation and filing for the EMEA Countries in collaboration with external consulting partnering company for all 50 legal entities. You will be responsible to address and coordinate any data gathering from the countries team in case of need and you will act as single point of contact for internal coordination of the process.
The ideal candidate will need to have a good understanding of and ensure adherence to general and government accounting concepts (US GAAP and Statutory), procedures, and methods (e.g., accrual, obligation, and cost methods
1. Service Delivery
Act as a focal point and SME for all RTR work activities (Bank Accounting, Asset Accounting, GL, Inventory Accounting, Master Data) both for VF organizations and the outsourcing provider
Perform transactional activities of a more complex nature, not assigned to the outsource provider, ensuring completeness in a timely and accurate manner, including:
Ensuring data accuracy and completeness
Coordinating across departments for information verification
Reviewing necessary adjustments
Conducting compliance checks
Ensure high levels of accuracy and efficiency in record to report transactions to maintain strong customer satisfaction and meet agreed service levels
Support customer requests and problem identification, following defined incident notification and escalation procedures
Identify risks associated with the execution of assigned tasks within the business process and escalate/mitigate/resolve as required
Understand and comply with internal controls, regulations, and security requirements linked to the business process and support internal audit and quality assurance requests
2. Service Performance Management
Support RTR Lead to monitor, review and evaluate operational metrics, including dashboard reviews and follow up / validate as required with involvement of outsourced provider. Provide commentary and explanations as required
Support RTR Lead to work to interpret SLA contractual framework defined within the outsourced providers engagement and monitor adherence
3. Team Building
Assist in training outsourcing provider or business function, as needed
4. Continuous improvement and transformation
Promote the development of transformation and deliver operational excellence
Apply understanding of assigned business process to identify gaps and propose continuous improvement measures
Work closely with RTR Team and outsourced provider to understand root causes and represent process procedures, practicalities and exceptions
Implement initiatives launched to address internal customer feedback and to improve customer satisfaction
Skills for Success
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and /or abilities required for the individual to be successful in this position:
Experience: At least 10 years of experience in Record To Report Processes
Languages: Proficient in English spoken as well as written
Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting
