Senior Java Developer with SWIFT Experience Description
Join our team as a Java Developer with SWIFT expertise in the vibrant city of Zürich and work closely with our client's esteemed Global Messaging and Screening department within Group Technology.
This niche area serves as an exclusive and secure door for our client, a global leader in the banking sector, to exchange financial transactions with partners in the financial industry and clearing houses. It boasts in-house built products such as a message broker and market gateways, connecting to global markets worldwide.

Responsibilities
- Provide technology solutions that will solve business problems and strengthen our position as digital leaders
- Collaborate with the customer and teams in other locations on a daily basis
- Design, plan and deliver sustainable solutions using Java and the related ecosystem
- Help lead our growing team of analysts and engineers to build new applications and develop further existing ones
- Provide technical expertise and recommendations in assessing requirements and initiatives to support and enhance existing applications
- Conduct code reviews and test software as needed, along with participating in application architecture and design and other phases of SDLC
- See that proper operational controls and procedures are implemented
- Support the production users and investigate issues in production when contacted by L2 support team
Requirements
- 5+ year of Java development experience
- Hands-on SWIFT Financial Messaging experience (MT, MX, ISO20022, etc.)
- Knowledge of
- Spring (Boot, Cloud, Security, REST)
- Microservice architectural pattern
- Cloud
- Oracle SQL, PL/SQL
- Maven/Gradle, GIT
- Knowledge about IBM MQ is a significant advantage
- Experience with AMH (Alliance Messaging Hub) is a significant advantage
- Proficient communication skills in English is must, German language skills are significant advantage
