DevOps Engineer (Senior) IT-BS vacancy for a globally operating Kaiseraugst based company in the pharmaceutical sector.
Your tasks:
- Designing, documenting, developing, testing, and deploying command-line and web/REST applications to support business needs
- Creating and optimizing scripts, customizations, and templates to accelerate delivery and enhance system efficiency
- Working closely with development, QA, and operations teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues, ensuring smooth and reliable software deployments
- Improving our CI/CD release automation processes to increase speed and reliability
- Mentoring and guiding junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement
- Driving the adoption of best practices in DevOps, including continuous integration, continuous delivery, and infrastructure as code
Your experience/knowledge:
- 3+ years of experience in a similar position
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools
- Extensive experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies like Docker, Kubernetes
- Strong scripting and automation skills including Python, Bash, PowerShell
- In-depth knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible
- Language skills: English – fluent in written and spoken
