Senior UX/UI Designer (m/f/d)

If you're a Senior UX/UI Designer who excels in developing and maintaining a consistent Design System, creating responsive and user-centered designs, and conducting thorough user research and usability testing - this could be the role for you:
Here's what you'll do:
- Develop and maintain a consistent Design System and visual design language with well-defined core design principles
- Create all basic components (buttons, dialogs, dropdowns, images, input fields, labels etc.) and advanced components (charts, gauges)
- Apply responsive design principles when creating interfaces that work seamlessly across various devices and screen sizes
- Create wireframes, mock-ups, and interactive prototypes to communicate design concepts in a clear manner
- Create detailed design specifications and guidelines for development teams
- Create user-centered visual designs for solutions that meet business and technical requirements
- Advocate for the end user, ensuring that user experience and usability are central to the design process
- Evaluate and suggest improvements to design processes and methodologies
- Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure the feasibility and implementation of designed interfaces
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects, align and communicate design decision to the project scope
- Create detailed user personas and user journeys based on research to guide design decisions
- Conduct user interviews and surveys to understand user needs, goals, behaviours and pain points
- Plan and conduct usability testing sessions to evaluate the effectiveness of designs, incorporating user feedback into iterative improvements
This is what you'll need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
- Proven experience in UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse projects
- Proficiency in one or more UX design tools (eg, Adobe XD, Figma)
- Strong understanding of visual design principles and attention to detail
- Experience in conducting user research and usability testing
- Knowledge of current UX/UI best practices and web accessibility standards
- Ability to translate complex concepts into simple, intuitive interfaces
- Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Creative problem-solving skills and a user-centered design approach
- Familiarity with front-end libraries (React), development practices and languages (HTML/CSS, JavaScript) is a plus
- Strong specification skills
