THE POSITION
These are your key tasks:
- Work with FIFA divisions to plan annual budgets and regular forecasts,
- Evaluate and challenge budget entries using insights derived from analysis of historical data and project specifics,
- Consolidate FIFA's expense budget (in two different views), including operating expenses, personnel expenses, depreciation, financial expenses and taxes,
- Provide commentary to senior management on budget and forecast variances,
- Contribute to the section of the FIFA Annual Report section relating to budgets and expenses for the reporting year,
- Financial reporting and analysis of FIFA's budget consumption per division and specific areas such as personnel and freelance expenses,
- Reporting, analysis, and review of open contracts and purchase orders of FIFA's divisions, providing the estimated committed budget consumption,
- Project controlling of FIFA development programmes such as Football For Schools and the Talent Development scheme,
- Maintain cost object master data in SAP,
- Review and approve year-end accrual and prepayment requests from the FIFA divisions,
- Reconcile accruals and prepayments throughout the year to ensure accurate balance sheet and income statement reporting.
