About the job
We are seeking a dynamic, collaborative and strategic professional to join our Corporate Finance team as Senior Commercial Controller. This role will report directly to the Head of Markets and B2B Controlling and plays a crucial role in acting as Finance Partner for Commercial Leaders and preparing, consolidating and managing strategic financial topics for executive leaders as well as driving financial projects.
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Controlling oversight of business unit or market P&L, in cooperation with the Commercial Division, including responsibility for transparency and financial advice, driving an optimization agenda by actively managing risks and opportunities.
- Act as finance partner with the relevant business heads to drive strategic decision-making through facilitating, measuring, monitoring and analyzing financial plans and actual results, cost benchmarking, and challenging the cost structure
- Work with other Business Finance teams to ensure related reporting and planning approaches reflect the commercial business needs.
- Gather and synthesize financial data from various department and functions heads to facilitate strategic decision making.
- Conduct in-depth ad-hoc strategic financial analysis requested by the CFO or CEO
- Oversee and coordinate finance-related projects, ensuring they align with the organization’s objectives and are delivered on time.
- Prepare comprehensive briefs and analytical advice to support decision making.
