In this role, you will be working in a fast-paced environment with an international team delivering a technology led audit for one of the largest global reinsurance companies. Senior Assistant - Global Audit Insurance
Your contribution to KPMG
- Audit consolidated and annual financial statements under IFRS principles on-site at our clients' premises
- Examine the international clients' business processes and workflows
- Hone your technical insurance expertise working on complex topics and transactions
- Learn to apply advanced technology and data & analytics to deliver a "next generation audit"
- Coordinate the day-to-day business of the audit team in collaboration with global delivery centers
- Mentor and coach junior staff members as their first point of contact
- Play an active role to establish a collaborative environment, team culture and customer service mindset among the audit team
This is what makes you successful
- Master or Bachelor Degree (Major in Accounting or Finance)
- Internationally recognized Certified Accountancy accreditation (completed / or on the way to completion)
- 4+ years of professional experience working within a public accounting firm auditing insurance companies (is a must), experience working in a multinational insurance company (preferable)
- Experience in external audit working with IFRS methodology (is a must), with IFRS 9 and IFRS 17 experience (preferable)
- Experience in project management, preferably with organizational change management
- Experience in leading the coordination of audit work across a global delivery team
- Fluent in English - French or German is a plus
