Role Overview: Step into a leadership role at the helm of the Network & Security Services team, driving its growth and innovation. Oversee the maintenance of vital IT Network services, from networks to cloud connectivity, ensuring their reliability and security. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage and drive the development of the "Network & Security Services" team.
- Ensure the robust operation of essential IT infrastructure services: network, WiFi, Internet & cloud connectivity, firewalls, proxy, WAF, and remote access.
- Play a pivotal role in executing the public cloud strategy, orchestrating the migration of network & security services to cloud platforms such as Azure, Cisco Meraki, Zscaler, and Cloudflare.
- Plan, and implement strategic IT goals within your department.
- Oversee a comprehensive array of systems and services, actively managing vendor relationships.
- Adhere to regulatory and compliance standards, proactively participating in audits.
- Collaborate with cross-functional groups contributing to strategic projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Team Lead experience in a comparable role, underpinned by effective communication, presentation, and persuasion skills across all hierarchical levels.
- Strategic proficiency in both technological and organizational facets of IT development.
- Technical expertise encompassing network, routing, Azure Network Services, Zero Trust Network Access, proxies, and Web Application Firewalls.
- Ability to implement modern scale-out approaches and validate business cases.
- Solid grasp of modern public cloud infrastructure and SaaS architecture.
- Excellent comprehension of cybersecurity methodologies and countermeasures.
- Proficiency in agile methodologies alongside practical DevOps experience.
- Interest in proactively championing team initiatives.
- Outstanding analytical skills, coupled with a track record of delivering purposeful work to high standards.
- Fluent in both written and spoken German and English.
