Creating, planning, and implementing local sales strategy and strategic business development initiatives involves leading a team of Sales Support and Sales Specialists. This includes ensuring proper organization, staffing, skill development, and direction, while driving know-how sharing and cross-collaboration. Key responsibilities also include defining sales targets, monitoring performance, building customer relationships, and managing risks related to contract agreements.• Leads a team of Sales Support and Sales Specialists, ensuring proper organization, staffing, skill development, and direction, while driving know-how sharing and cross-collaboration.• Defines key sales targets and establishes appropriate metrics and measurement tools to monitor performance, driving top-line growth.• Identifies and evaluates opportunities with existing and potential new customers, determines plans for implementation, and allocates resources, while building and maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers.• Identifies, monitors, and maintains sales market price levels, evaluates pricing impact with Product Management, manages potential risks related to contract agreements, and develops, implements, and reviews sales processes and tools, along with related training and development activities.
- You have a relevant degree in electrical engineering, industrial engineering, computer science engineering or comparable.
- Team Lead experience.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales, account management or business development of Automation or related solutions ideally within the Swiss market, preferably in the Power Generation, Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Water markets.
- Forward-thinking mindset, actively seeking opportunities and proposing solutions. A collaborative, solution-oriented approach with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A clear understanding of contract negotiations, risk management and commercial and legal terms.
- Fluent German and English.
- Willingness to travel approx. 20-40% within the Hub Central Southern Europe.
