Sales Manager Americas
Swiss AviationSoftware is a 100% subsidiary of Swiss International Air Lines and successfully develops and distributes the software package AMOS which manages the maintenance, engineering and logistics requirements of modern airlines. In order to strengthen our leading market position we are looking for dedicated employees who would like to work in a fascinating international environment with more than 160 customers from all over the world.
Your main tasks include, among others:
- Own the lead generation process as well as execute the full sales process from prospect identification to closure of business
- Identify, evaluate, and leverage new business opportunities, especially in the USA, while positioning the company and the product as a leader in the enterprise MRO software solution business
- Perform AMOS product presentations based on good product knowledge in close co-operation with the Swiss-AS Sales Team and AMERICAS’ Consulting Team
- Follow-up on AMOS product presentations for all products within the Swiss-AS portfolio to bring them to closure
- Participate in conferences and exhibitions to attract new leads and to expand network
- Identify and build up potential new sectors of business aligned with product innovations
* Perform other duties assigned by supervisors
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a combination of the below requirements:
- A university degree in Aeronautical Engineering and/or Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field at best a combination of education and business experience in the fields of Aviation Engineering & Marketing /Sales
- Deep aircraft maintenance software industry knowledge at best AMOS knowledge
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a customer-facing role in pre-sales with track record of success
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills are essential to successfully close pre-sales process and foster relationships with all industry key players in the region
- Must possess a legal work permit in the U.S
- Travelling will be required
