Revenue Management Data Scientist (80-100%, all genders)

Finding the right price for the right customer at the right time. This is our challenge. In this key role, you are responsible for conceptualizing, designing and implementing data-driven innovations to maximize revenue. Specifically, we ask you to:
- Define, solve, improve mathematical optimization models and tools for revenue management problems (e.g. demand forecasting, price optimization, optimal product bundling, competitor intelligence, etc.).
- Use advanced data analytics, statistics and simulations to develop practical solutions to business problems and identify revenue opportunities.
- Prepare and hold persuasive presentations of complex information in front of peers, interfaces and management.
- Manage numerous stakeholders with a clear focus on collaboration, empathy and reaching the collective optimum.
- Progressively become a center of expertise who can guide others in the field of airline Revenue Management.
- Be a focal point in complex projects and lead related science activities.
- University master’s degree (PhD as asset) in a quantitative field.
- Relevant research or working experience in using advanced machine learning algorithms, statistics and operations research.
- Advanced skills in programming (e.g. Python, R).
- Literacy in modern IT tools (cloud computing platforms, workflow automation, big data query, etc.).
- Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Solid Business understanding, Revenue Management knowledge as an asset.
- Proven entrepreneurial mindset and hands-on attitude.
- Strong conceptual capabilities and ability to turn analytical findings into business opportunities.
- Strong interpersonal and intercultural presentation and communication skills.
- Highly motivated team player.
- Written and spoken fluency in English.
