Recruitment Consultant - Software Development
About Summit
Summit Recruitment is quality led Technology and Change management Recruitment company looking for friendly, positive, motivated individuals to join our small, international, outgoing team.
Founded in 2017, and based in the heart of Lucerne, we focus on the IT and change management sector, providing the best in Software, Infrastructure, ERP, Project Management and Business Analysis talent (amongst others) to our Swiss client base on both a permanent and contract recruitment basis and we have our Swiss licences to perform both.
What do we stand for?
What does a typical week look like at Summit?
As an experienced recruiter we would expect that you would do a mixture of candidate sourcing/delivery and business development/client relationship work.
We have an established client base for you to come in and deliver to, so from the start we would expect that might make up 80-90% candidate sourcing and 10-20% client relationship or business development. We are a big believer in personal contact, so we like to meet with clients in person and it would be expected that over time you build up spend (on average) approx. 10-20% of your time out meeting clients and candidates. However, finding good candidates is the biggest challenge (that is why we are needed in the first place!) so candidate sourcing and delivery will be expected to make up the biggest amount of your time. Therefore, you should be the kind of person that enjoys candidate searching, headhunting, contacting, screening and so on.
However, we know that no two weeks are the same. Our approach to KPI’s is that they are important on a fundamental level to ensure long term success but that they should never get in the way of common sense and business needs.
Being a small team each week you also get the chance to exchange ideas with the team across a range of topics and contribute.
