The Record to Report (R2R) team provides the companies superior value through collaborative, compliant, digitalized accounting & reporting process. This is the team that owns the R2R process operating model including the process & embedded internal controls with the ultimate mission to allow business to focus on what matters by providing standard, compliant, and user-friendly digitalized processes.

Your Responsibilities:

• Serve as business partner, consultant and advisor to R2R Global Process Owner and R2R Compliance Lead
• Take the lead in updating and maintaining the R2R global control set, in collaboration with your Sub-process Owner colleagues
• Facilitate the deployment of the ARIC framework and methodology by applying best practices and developing an intuitive and lean, but effective internal control framework
• Provide understanding and oversight to facilitate Sub-process Owners’ design and implementation of new or updated standardized internal controls in the R2R process
• Support process design enhancements to standardize processes and controls (in coordination with Global Process Owners) to simplify and rationalize the control environment by driving a change towards global and standardized controls
• Exploit the use of technology to enhance the control environment, processes and controls, e.g. by identifying the potential for automation of processes and/or controls
• Demonstrate strong sense of business acumen to ensure that the methodology supports the achievement of business objectives
• Support FAO community and relevant business stakeholders in their understanding and knowledge of the ARIC framework and methodology by educating and training all levels of the organization, thus driving the internal controls transformation and deployment effective controls throughout the organization
• Be the point person for global automated controls in R2R
• Lead the resolution and remediation of deficiencies in R2R Global controls
• Maintain relationships with internal and external auditors, supporting their plans and their definition of scope of work, monitoring the results of their reports and sponsoring the financial and control actions to remediate deficiencies in due time

Your Profil:

• 8-10 years of experience in SOX/Internal Controls over Financial Reporting, Internal Audit or Risk Assessment area, in the Record to Report process
• Bachelor/Master’s degree (audit/finance/accounting)
• Professional qualification equivalent to CPA/CIA/CISA is an advantage
• Solid understanding of internal controls methodology and practices, ideally in a US GAAP and a SOX environment
• Good business understanding and working experience in the area of process improvements as well as project management
• Sound working knowledge of SAP/ERP (FSCM, S4-Hanna, CFIN), good command of MS Excel and MS PowerPoint applications
• Good understanding of automated controls and the ability to coordinate with technology team on control validations
• Ability to work independently in a fast-moving environment
• Problem solving skills, systematic approach to a problem, understanding consequences in a systemic manner
• Good at networking (finding and engaging right people in the organization)
• Influencing skills: Create appetite for simplifications and willingness to change
• Communication skills: Present and report activities in a clear and effective way, sensitive to communication steps related to all levels of stakeholders, with the ability to influence without management authority
• Fluent in English language (spoken and written)
