Contract type: Permanent
Contract start: Immediately or by agreement
- Coordination of tests for the Jabil contamination monitoring program (cleanroom monitoring, water monitoring, compressed air monitoring)
- Conducting product monitoring activities according to procedures (e.g., microbial load)
- Assisting in the execution of sterilization validations and evaluation of results (e.g., dose mapping, product sterilization validation) during the introduction of new products and new packaging through documentation using validation protocols and reports
- Reviewing and evaluating supplier and production changes (new suppliers, changes to product materials, components, manufacturing process)
- Interaction with manufacturing and quality departments
- Interaction with contract sterilizers, cleaning suppliers, and laboratories
- Supporting risk assessments from a contamination control perspective
- Providing training for personnel to ensure that the requirements of the environmental monitoring program are met
- Supporting the internal team in the commissioning and maintenance of controlled environments and finishing, including cleaning, to ensure their effectiveness in producing clean and safe products
- Supporting the validation of treated water, controlled environment, and finishing/cleaning processes
- Guiding plant personnel as needed to ensure good manufacturing and documentation practices
- Assisting with compliance tasks (e.g., non-conformities) and supporting external and internal audits
REPORTING TO: Sterility Assurance Manager
- Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology/Biology or an equivalent degree is required
- Initial professional experience in the medical technology and/or pharmaceutical industry with a steadily expanding range of tasks
- Travel up to 30%-40% to other production sites (Hägendorf, CH, Tuttlingen, D) with the main location in Balsthal, CH
- Experience in environmental monitoring programs and investigations is an advantage
- This position requires the ability to work in cross-functional groups in a team-oriented environment
- Very good Itlian and English skills are a must
