Your Crew:
In Nyon, a team of six dynamic and engaged project and sales managers expects you. Together, we ensure that a diverse and stellar portfolio of internal and external clients are satisfied with top-notch rotary joints and engineering services in the most efficient manner. Our comparable small site is currently undergoing a significant transformation and growing every day. Your Mission:
- Working closely with the sales team to analyze customer needs and determine winning bid strategies
- Assisting with the creation of the solution and proposal whilst ensuring compliance with customer requirements and highlighting company value proposition
- Preparing and managing bid planning activities including resources, cost and schedule based on documented bid processes
- Leading the bid team with clear objectives and guidelines on deliverables required
- Managing and leading the commercial aspects of the proposal including costs, price & cash and related simulation and modelling
- Supporting Sales Manager to present, promote and negotiate offers to customers
As project manager of the assigned projects, products, and clients you are responsible for successfully and sustainably executing all assigned projects and products to the satisfaction of clients and internal management/target expectations:
- Leading of all communication with the assigned customer
- Taking position and representing Beyond Gravity’s interests in negotiations
- Ensuring and managing achievement of milestones incl. invoicing and their cash collection
- Monitoring key performance indicators and prevent/mitigate degradation
- Preparing and conducting performance reporting and evaluations
- Enabling, maintaining, and continuously improving project execution, customer satisfaction, and profitability to enable sustainable, growing long-term business
- Setting up a clear deliverable and risk mitigation framework and keeping it up to date
- Enabling a controlled and predictable execution of the projects with the project teams and through alignment with the management team
- Providing input and guidance to the project teams to achieve contract compliant execution of all relevant tasks and elaboration of all technical deliverables within the financial and timing boundary conditions
- If applicable, secure and manage contractors and subcontractors to the project
- Capturing additional work when opportunities arise
- Ensuring lessons learned during both bidding and project execution phases
Your Story:
- University degree in mechanical, materials, electrical engineering, or management of technologies
- Relevant experience in engineering and/or management of interdisciplinary engineering and production of demanding applications such as aerospace, medical, instruments, automotive, or military industries
- Very structured, pragmatic working style, problem solving, and communication
- Very strong integrity and team player, virtuosity, open-mindedness, creativity
- Fluent in English. Basics in spoken French. Fluent in German would be a plus
Nice to have’s:
- Several years of professional experience in engineering, managing, and overseeing complex projects in a very technical environment
- Strong background in mechanics, electromechanics, product development, production and testing are an asset
- Military leadership experience is an asset
- Experience with rotary joints in higher assemblies
