IT Project Manager Sisslerfeld (BSF), 100% (f/m/d)

To drive our continuous organic growth, we are constantly looking for highly qualified professionals. To strengthen our IT Organization and ensure the delivery of our IT Services we are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager (f/m/d), 100% with a strong background in IT infrastructure and a good understanding of the pharmaceutical manufacturing.

This role will be responsible for leading the IT aspects of building the new Bachem greenfield pharmaceutical manufacturing site, demonstrating strong leadership skills and manufacturing-specific knowledge.

The IT Project Manager is the contact point for the Business project team to manage the requirements and build a solution architecture for a new greenfield manufacturing site and execute projects in close collaboration with respective IT and business units, considering risk, quality, time and cost.

Your tasks:

  • Lead and manage IT projects from inception to completion, demonstrating exceptional leadership and strategic thinking to deliver the IT infrastructure and application landscape on a greenfield site in line with Business requirements and Global IT Standards
  • Develop detailed project plans, including goals, timelines, and budgets, considering the specific challenges and regulations of pharmaceutical manufacturing. Ensure IT projects are delivered on time, within budget and with high quality, in close collaboration with the engineering project teams
  • Identify all relevant project stakeholders, proactively manage relationships and ensure customer view is reflected in the execution of the project by building a robust project governance
  • Establish and update the project plan, documentation as well as work packages, and track the completion of project deliverables, tasks, activities and milestones; report progress to Steering Committees and monthly Project Portfolio Review meetings
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders, including contractors, to ensure that the future IT landscape aligns with overall project goals and IT standards
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies in various projects arras, including costs, resources and dependencies
  • Establish a transparent and traceable project change management process
  • Conduct and lead together with Procurement any relevant IT RFP and participate in the selection process
  • Support evaluations of new IT solutions and/or vendors
  • Support other IT project managers within the team or in other departments with methodology and best practice to successfully plan, budget and execute IT projects
  • Communicate effectively within the project team and senior management

Your profile:

  • Master's degree in (Business) Information Technology or similar education in any technical discipline. Training in project management methodology as well familiarity with agile methodology.
  • Minimum 7 years of IT project management experience in an international company with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget. PMP certification is a plus
  • Experience in M&A activities or green-field setup is highly desired.
  • Strong understanding of modern IT and OT Infrastructure
  • A good understanding of BIM, CDE and CAD solutions would be of advantage
  • Proven broad IT and OT infrastructure skills: hosting, automation- and building network architecture, security and high availability as well general business continuity concepts at all levels of the infrastructure
  • Experience in driving collaboration to solve complex issues at a fast pace
  • Leadership skills to push projects to completion, using conflict management, facilitation, scenario-based analysis, risk management, exceptional communication and project management methodologies
  • Detail planning capabilities, analytical thinking and strong ability to break large problems into small elements
  • English / German language skills: C1 (Advanced / Higher Business) or higher
