Professeur·e associé·e en epidémiologie spatiale | Associate Professor in "spatial epidemiology"
Principales missions du poste :
- Assurer le leadership des activités scientifiques dans le domaine de l’épidémiologie spatiale en santé publique, incluant la thématique de la promotion de la santé et celle de l’épidémiologie des maladies chroniques, dont le cancer.
- Dispenser un enseignement de niveau universitaire en recherche épidémiologique dans le cadre du cursus académique d’Unisanté.
- Fournir des expertises dans le domaine de l’épidémiologie spatiale pour les services et institutions de santé publique et de médecine communautaire.
- Développer la collaboration et le rayonnement aux niveaux national et international avec des groupes de recherche en épidémiologie spatiale.
Profil souhaité :
- PhD en épidémiologie, biostatistique, science des données ou titre jugé équivalent ; spécialisation/expertise en épidémiologie spatiale.
- Compétences en gestion des données massives en santé et en intelligence artificielle, y compris la maîtrise des outils d’analyse dans le domaine de l’épidémiologie spatiale.
- Leadership en recherche épidémiologique et de santé publique.
- Compétences managériales avancées (gestion d’équipes et de projets variés).
- Capacité à la collaboration interdisciplinaire et en réseau avec d’autres groupes de recherche, y compris au niveau international.
- Compétence et expérience de gestion et de communication.
- Volonté de prendre une part active au développement d’Unisanté et de la Faculté de biologie et médecine.
- Savoirs académiques de rang professoral avec pratique confirmée en matière d’enseignement pré et postgrade.
- Capacité à mettre sur pied des programmes de recherche en épidémiologie spatiale susceptibles d’être soutenus par des fonds externes expertisés.
- Maîtrise de l’anglais, bonne connaissance de l’allemand et bonne connaissance du français (LM ou minimum B2, C1 idéal) ou capacité à l’acquérir rapidement.
The incumbent :
- provide leadership for scientific activities in the field of spatial epidemiology in public health, including health promotion and the epidemiology of chronic diseases, including cancer.
- provide university-level teaching in epidemiological research as part of Unisanté's academic curriculum
- provide expertise in the field of spatial epidemiology for public health and community medicine services and institutions
- develop collaboration and outreach at national and international level with spatial epidemiology research groups.
Desired Profile :
- PhD in epidemiology, biostatistics, data science or a qualification deemed equivalent; specialisation/expertise in spatial epidemiology
- Skills in the management of massive health data and artificial intelligence, including mastery of analysis tools in the field of spatial epidemiology
- Leadership in epidemiological and public health research
- Advanced managerial skills (management of teams and various projects)
- Capacity for interdisciplinary collaboration and networking with other research groups, including at international level
- Management and communication skills and experience
- Willingness to play an active part in the development of Unisanté and the Faculty of Biology and Medicine
- Academic knowledge at professorial level with proven experience in pre- and postgraduate teaching
- Ability to set up research programmes in spatial epidemiology that can be supported by expert external funding
- Fluency in English, good knowledge of German and good knowledge of French (LM or minimum B2, C1 ideal) or ability to acquire it rapidly.
