Product Marketing Manager, Corporates
Thomson Reuters is looking for a talented and driven Product Marketing Manager to join our dynamic team that focuses on driving growth in our Corporate B2B software product portfolio. In this critical role, you will be responsible for working with Product Marketing colleagues to develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies that communicate the value of our Corporate software products to target audiences in a way that will resonate. You will work closely with the full spectrum of go-to-market and retention functions driving cross-functional direction, alignment, and commitment to our growth vision, and successful execution of priority growth strategies.
This role will primarily focus on the ONESOURCE suite of products, with opportunity to also develop strategies for emerging products that are of value to Tax & Accounting firms. It is an exciting time to join, as this suite of products is in the initial stages of integrating generative AI capabilities, which will be a key driver of growth for this portfolio in future.
Based in Sydney or Melbourne, your creativity, strategic thinking, and deep understanding of market trends will be essential in positioning our products competitively and driving business success. About the Role
In this opportunity as Product Marketing Manager, you will:
Conduct market research to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape
Create product positioning and messaging that differentiates products in the market.
Use insights to inform product development, pricing, marketing strategies and campaigns to drive product awareness, demand generation, and customer engagement
Develop and implement comprehensive go-to-market plans for new product launches and feature releases in close cross-functional alignment with Sales, Marketing, and other go to market enablement functions
Create and deliver enablement content for marketing channels, thought leadership and events
Develop sales enablement materials, including product collateral, presentations, and competitive analysis
Monitor and analyse growth and retention campaign performance to optimize results and achieve KPIs
Provide ongoing support to the marketing, sales and account management teams with training, tools, and resources
Gather feedback from the customer facing team members to continuously improve product positioning and inform marketing efforts
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and industry influencers
About You
You are a fit for the role of Product Marketing Manager if your background includes:
Minimum of 8 years of experience in product marketing, marketing, or sales preferably in the technology or information industry.
Exposure to the Corporate B2B Software-as-a-Service and/or professional services sector preferred.
Strong understanding of executing and managing market research and competitive analysis processes.
Proven experience in developing and executing go-to-market strategies.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to create compelling product positioning, messaging, commercials & pricing and subsequently these up in easy to digest, channel enablement materials
Strong project and matrix management capabilities.
Create thinker with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement
A bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a field related to the target market.
