Job Description
- You are part of the process engineering team for combustion and the steam generation of Energy from Waste (EfW) projects.
- You develop process concepts, guidelines and specifications for your area of competence.
- You prepare and maintain the P&IDs and process engineering data in CAE tool (Comos).
- You prepare the relevant process engineering input to internal and external parties, i.e., equipment and packages, EIC, layout as well as suppliers and clients.
- You coordinate the integration of your systems into the plant, checking specifications and interfaces.
- You define advanced process control schemes for the DCS of the plant.
- You participate to the factory acceptance test of the process control systems DCS/SIS.
- You participate to HAZOP studies and training sessions for the plant operators.
- You support the commissioning team from the office and on site in troubleshooting and in tuning the controllers and the combustion control system once the plant is started.
- You are available for travelling up to about 20% of your time.
Qualifications
- Process-, Control-, Environmental- or Chemical engineer with strong analytical skills combined with critical thinking, precise work style and communications skills.
- Curious, proactive and team oriented personality.
- Good knowledge of engineering tools (CAE, preferably Comos).
- You are fluent in English, German is an advantage.
- Work experience in a similar field is a plus.
