Principal Researcher - Usability Engineering and Testing (m/f/d)
- Identify user profiles, tasks, hazard-related use scenarios, usability risks and requirements
- Responsible for translating UX research insights, user needs, business requirements and technical requirements into pleasant and efficient User Experiences
- Plan and execute formative usability studies
- Provide guidance and mentorship to more junior designers supporting them on professional development, output and productivity
- Cooperate with the UX and Human Factors team to identify synergies and improve our processes, shared methods and templates
- Advocate for accessibility, quality and usability for end-users
- Support team members on the usability testing process and methods
- MS in Science, Industrial Engineering, Psychology, Human Factors Engineering or other related technical field
- Multiple years of relevant experience
- Experience with formative evaluations methods, including usability testing
- Experience in collecting and analyzing physiological and behavioral data
- Excellent presentation skills and ability to communicate know-how, experiences, ideas, solutions and deliverables effectively and persuasively
- Knowledge about tools or platforms to automate usability testing
- You like to stay informed about industry trends and best practices related to usability testing and other formative evaluation methods
- Experienced in planning, executing and documenting usability studies in the medical field is a plus
- Fluent in English, other languages are always a big plus
- Nice to have: Knowledge managing testing participant databases
