This position is located in Investigative and Immunosafety, a department within the Pharmaceutical Sciences function. We drive the non-clinical safety assessment of drug candidates from small molecules to complex biological products during the discovery and development phases at Roche.
We are offering an outstanding opportunity for a Predictive Safety Analyst Laboratory Associate to design and execute preclinical in vitro models to support prioritization and de-risking of novel therapeutic agents throughout the drug discovery and development process. This position will work closely with stakeholders from several disciplines including toxicology project leaders, small molecule research and DMPK.
You propose, conduct and report investigative toxicology strategies to understand mechanisms of toxicity.
You support the development and automation of predictive safety models
You are accountable for the scientific delivery of modern regulated and/or non-regulated toxicology assays to inform risk assessment of discovery and development projects.
You trained as a laboratory associate (apprenticeship as e.g. MTA, BTA, etc) or hold a University degree in biological sciences (B.Sc. or M.Sc.)
You bring a minimum of 3 years of experience in the laboratory in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry
You have profound experience in in-vitro cell culture
You are experienced in new technologies applied to predictive safety assessment. Assay automation and programming skills are of benefit.
You demonstrate excellent communication and collaboration skills.
